The simple proof is in the pudding of primeval ooze, explained thus: the planet, the bubble, the mushroom (and the mushroom cloud), the sun, the moon, the cranium, the zygote, the egg. All things proceeding from a center: all perceptions proceeding towards that center along a straight line. Cardinal points give rise to cardinal numbers, whose fractions describe an irrational number, itself a description of an infinite process of refinement to the archetype ideal sphere, describable only in the context of an infinite number of nonparallel lines.
