Here's the thing: Not everyone can be rich. Not by american twenty first century standards. The way you know that that get rich quick scheme that somehow found its way to you is crooked is that it's there. For any particular pool of exploitable wealth there can only be so many consumers. When they say easy money you're not the consumer you're the pool. Play the lottery, at least it's easy larceny, buy a shot and then stake out a lawn chair in your front yard and wait for a meteor to smash your skull open. Yeah, somebody wins: but a whole lot more people get hit by trucks. You gotta live your life.
